- Get rid of clutter
One of the most important things you can do when preparing your home for sale is to get rid of clutter. This can include furniture – professional stagers often take away half the furniture resulting in the room appearing much bigger. Take a look around and ask yourself what you can live without. - Use all of your space
Many of us have a room that serves only to gather junk – repurpose it into something and it will add value to your home. The simple addition of a chair, table and lamp in a stairwell nook can transform it into a cosy reading spot. - Group in 3’s
When it comes to accessorising – odd numbers are preferable, especially three. Rather than lining up a trio of accessories in a straight line – imagine a triangle and place an object at each point. The largest item should be at the back with the smallest in front.
